Applying for admission to CBS

In a few steps you can apply for a place in one of our master´s programmes. We will explain the application process in the following section. Please note that applications are consideredthroughout the year although CBS master courses start only in the winter.

To be considered for entry onto the CBS Master programmes, candidates should have a completed bachelor degree with a minimum of 180 ECTS points of a recognised German or international university, university of applied sciences or university of cooperative education.The degree should be economic-related. Furthermore, substantial knowledgeof the course topics (e.g. tourism, media etc.) must be proven.

Please submit the following documents for your application to CBS. Early application is advised, especially if you require a visa to study in Germany.

A completed application form
Your CV
Copies of your first academic qualification or proof of currant study achievements (official academic transcript of records)
Letter of motivation answering the question: Where do you see yourself after having achieved your master´s degree at CBS? What are your goals? (max. DIN A4 – one page)
A Proof of English language qualification (if English is not your first language) through TOEFL-certificate: min. 92 points (internet-based), or IELTS (6.5). both not older than 2 years
optional: proof of your semester abroad and/or proof of job experience/internship
Your photo as a jpeg-format or attached to your postal application

After having reviewed your application, we will eventually consider your application and invite you to take part in one of our assessment days.Our selection process consists of a short scientific presentation and a personal interview in which we want to find out about your motivation, your values and goals.
