Bachelor General Management

The Bachelor of Arts General Management degree course provides a selection between seven core subjects from which you can select two individually according to your interests. Business Psychology

In the core subject studies of business psychology, you can sense your interest in people and their conduct. Here, you gain a sound psychological know-how, related both to employees in a company and customers as well as their perception of processes, products, services and their decision patterns. You use this knowledge for product design, marketing and in human resources management. You gain the capability to integrate academic knowledge of business studies and psychology in everyday business life and to process psycho-social problems with an economic reference successfully.

Marketing Management

The growing competition in most sectors means that it is becoming increasingly important for companies to adapt to the benefit of customers uncompromisingly. I the core subject Marketing Management degree, you learn to create success-orientated marketing concepts for national and international companies of all sizes and in all sectors. You view the entire marketing management process from strategic planning to the integrated application of all instruments.

After your studies, you are very well prepared for the multi-faceted tasks of a marketing manager. Your sound knowledge in several areas crucial for marketing such as market research, brand management, integrated communication, advertising psychology and customer relationship management makes your work valuable for several large and small companies in the fields of trade, industry and services.

Business Management

The core subject degree Business Management teaches you to steer economical action effectively, efficiently and in a targeted manner.

You management competence achieved at the CBS prepares you for a company management job and puts you in the position to take and implement entrepreneurial decisions.

Human Resoures Management

The employees are a company's most important achievement potential. The discovery and utilisation of human potential is a human resources management task. The core subject degree Human Resources Management teaches you to promote talents in such a manner that they can make an optimum contribution to the company's success. You view the entire human resources development process. At the same time, you assume strategic planning, get to know a human resources manager's operative work and focus on specific aspects such as current trends.

After completion of your degree, you are equally at home in human resources planning and procurement as in human resources development and administration or controlling. You know all the important International Employment Law regulations and the basics of employment and social policy. You are prepared for a wide range of work, for example in human resources management.

International Management

In addition to marked management capabilities, knowledge of the special features of all the important global markets and a fine feeling for dealing with business partners and employees in various countries all over the world is needed by managers. The core subject degree International Management teaches you to develop intercultural business understanding. You view the entire international management process and get to know companies' core functions within the global context.

Following your studies, you know how human resources Management, marketing and supply chain management work in companies which act internationally. You are familiar with the cross-border aspects of investment and financing or risk management. In a nutshell, you are ready to strive for a top position in a globally active company.     

Logistics Management

As an indispensable link in all value-added chains, logistics plays a central role in economic life, reaching far beyond transporting, loading and storing goods of all types. Designing logistical networks is a great challenge in times of increasing international goods flows. The core subject degree Logistics Management teaches you the tools, methods and strategies which are indispensable in this exciting economics sector. You observe the entire management process for preparing logistics services, assuming an innovative portfolio, from the preparation of services to the design of elementary interfaces.

Trade Management

Comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge of trade business and the connection between strategic-conceptional thinking and practical action is essential for the adaptation of all corporate functions to the specific requirements of a trading company. The core subject Trade Management teaches you both an understanding of the different trade-specific task areas and to master contemporary analysis and planning techniques, for example in order to determine locations and sales areas, determine the range and prices, arrange buying and supply chains as well as possible or to distribute goods to departments and goods carriers as efficiently as possible.

After your degree, you meet all the requirements to make use of the exceptionally good career openings for academics in trade. You are prepared for deployment as a manager in stores with turnover and employee responsibility. Or you have the opportunity to strive for a career as a managing director and project manager at a company's corporate headquarters.
