Research project with Tourismus NRW [North Rhine-Westphalia Tourism]

Within the scope of a research project in cooperation with Tourismus NRW e.V. at the end of 2010, CBS students determined the best-liked and best-known cities in NRW [North Rhine-Westphalia].

Considerably more than 1000 North Rhine-Westphalians were asked to provide a spontaneous response as to what they associate with NRW, which cities and regions and which specialities and personalities.

After the results were analysed, the project was handed over and it will now provide a contribution to the continuation of the increased attractiveness of our Federal State as a holiday destination.

Prof. Dr. Guido Sommer, head of the Tourism Department at the CBS, supported the project from an academic angle. You can see the project results in the presentation.
