Media Management and Entrepreneurship

The research cluster “Media Management and Entrepreneurship” focuses on organizational forms, entrepreneurial and management approaches, operational logics, and legal concerns associated with the progressively digitized economy. The applied research of the cluster moreover concentrates on media production.

The following persons organize and collaborate regarding the research activities of the cluster: Prof. Dr. Julia Maintz, Professor of International Management and Internet Economics, Head of Media Management (Focus: Innovation), Dipl. Medienwirt Michael Schwertel, Professorship for Media Management (Focus: Crossmedia), Prof. Dr. Klemens Skibicki, Professor of Economics, Marketing and Market Research, and Dr. Frank Tapella, Professorship for International Law and e-Commerce.

Present research of the cluster involves project partners from other Cologne Business School research clusters and industry partners and focuses on the following topics:
