Welcome to the Dr. Juergen Meyer Endowed Chair for International Business Ethics and Sustainability

At the beginning of 2011, the Chair of International Business Ethics and Sustainability was founded at the Cologne Business School. The chair was established by the Dr. Juergen Meyer Foundation, a charitable foundation based in Cologne. According to the will of the founder, Dr. Juergen Meyer, the issues of business ethics and sustainability are at the center of the foundation’s work.

The chair is concerned with questions of business ethics, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, and corporate governance. These areas are integrated into the different areas of study at the Cologne Business School, thus, they are a vital part of the education of the young leaders of tomorrow. As such, they are made familiar with the possibilities and challenges related to these issues. With this integrated method, the Dr. Juergen Meyer Foundation and Cologne Business School are taking a unique approach in the German educational landscape.
