Work for Good - The Idea

For one day, CBS students work voluntarily for a company of their choice and in return, the company donates approximately € 100 to the nonprofit organization “wünschdirwas e.V.”. For the past 22 years, “wünschdirwas e.V.” fulfills wishes of critically ill children and young adults living in German hospitals. The organization is very happy about the charity, hence all participating students will receive a certificate for their volunteer work. As a matter of course, the companies will obtain a contribution receipt in addition to one work-day by the students.

The timeframe of the project, in which the students will be able to work for a certain company starts at April 9th, 2012 and will end with April 20th, 2012. One of the weeks is part of the Easter break and in the other week, lectures are going to take place. This leaves enough time to all the students to work in a company for one day.
