The CBS network

The Cologne Business School's task is to establish and extend a network of external personalities, supporters, companies and universities which assists students in looking for industrial placements and opportunities for their semesters abroad as well as helping the university as a whole to progress strategically.

The CBS presidium and university management are supported by a Board of Trustees whose members campaign for the university's concerns at international level and create connections which directly benefit teaching and the students at the CBS.

Several partner universities worldwide ensure academic exchange between the universities on the one hand and on the other hand provide a decisive advantage when planning the semester abroad.

The companies which collaborate with the CBS have joined forces in the Cologne Business Network CBN and provide industrial placements and, if applicable, mentor a Bachelor of Arts thesis from the practical side.

Many graduates also maintain their ties to the CBS. With regular events, they pass on their job experience to the students and help occasionally with career starts.
